Cheerilee (Cherry Blossom before the Core 7 redesign) is a pony from the G3 franchise.
CHERRY BLOSSOM's parties are especially fun, because she has them at all kinds of crazy times! Last week she threw a hot chocolate-and-marshmallow party at midnight. This week it's a five o'clock rise-and-shine-for-breakfast bash! - Cherry Blossom's backcard story from the back of her toy's box.
Media[]
Cherry Blossom has a reddish purple coat with light pink, pink and purple hair. Her eyes are green and her cutie mark is a branch cherry blossom flowers.
Cherry Blossom did not make any appearances in animated direct-to-video movies, although she made appearances in The Friendship Ball Sticker Book game, the G3 comic series included with the annuals, and the Ponyville online game where you can make a cake at the Sweet Shoppe for the birthday party. She appears for a short time and was voiced by Nicole Bouma in mid-2007.
She was renamed Cheerilee with mostly the same design apart from a more pink body color and a simplified cutie mark. She appears again and was voiced by Kelly Sheridan in late 2007.
Merchandise[]
Cherry Blossom was one of the most merchandised G3 ponies despite not making any animated appearances. She was released as a toy three times:
- Rainbow Celebration Single (2004)
- Seaside Celebration (2005)
- Balloon Flying (2006)
She also had a Ponyville figure released with the 2007 Fancy Fashions Boutique playset, as well as a Ponyville Happy Meal toy that same year.
A plush version was made by Namco in 2006.
She has appeared on many items between 2004-2007, such as toothbrushes and coloring books.
